Welcome to the historic Lower East Side "169 Bar"; the 80 year old & infamous AKA "Bloody Bucket". Located on the edge of Chinatown, the "169 Bar" is no longer the denizen of a variety of gangs, but is now playing host to a variety of musical styles from some of the best local & international talent. Most recently we are proud to have introduced live jazz on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays. The rest of the week you will find an eclectic mix of music including acoustic performers, solo piano players playing our beautiful 1939 upright piano, R&B, Soul, Funk, Folk, Lounge, Bluegrass, and even a little rock.

Open from 4 to 4 everyday, with a buy one get one free happy hour from 4 to 7; some of our most popular drink specials include the "Truckers B.J." (Pabst beer & a shot...$5!) and "The Chubby".
