The menu incorporates trendy ingredients and cooking methods with incongruously non-Asian elements into a crowd-pleasing menu. Representative appetizers include kobe beef tartare, lobster pancakes and Thai shrimp cakes; entrees include curry miso black cod, gremolata crusted rib-eye and wild mushroom pasta. The occasional midtown shopper or MoMA visitor might stop by for one of the popular, generously-sized meal salads, which are available in two sizes and relatively affordable at $15-$25. Often noticed but seldom remembered is the inevitable “grilled meat” smell your clothes will have absorbed during the duration of an average meal regardless of where your table is located.
