The hamburger in question is truffle-enhanced ground sirloin, with a foie gras center, and tops $100. Thankfully, the hamburger comes with crisp fries in a charming little paper cone and short ribs. Forego the truffle and the price is knocked down to a mere $30, but remains a meal and experience in and of itself. Don’t let the luxury hamburger take away from the rest of the accomplished menu, which offers at any given time roasted fish on a bed of ratatouille, French specialties like Boeuf en gelee (beef in aspic) and homey comfort food like authentic Alsacian choucroute and roasted duck breast.
