See that MyTasteBuds box in the top-right corner? Welcome home. Enter your email address into the first field, then your passsword into the next. If you can't log in, explore your browser's options and make sure javascript is turned on.
In the MyTasteBuds box, click on 'TasteBar.' A toolbar should appear. If it doesn't, check to make sure your browser supports javascript. Anyways, the TasteBar is your way to access MyTasteBuds anywhere from the site.
You'll notice you have no statistics yet - which means you have no $teak in the company yet, which means you don't stand to make any money. Wait? Money? What? Maybe you should read
this.
Click on 'profile' in the MyTasteBuds box in your top left, and you'll be brought to a page containing your user profile.
As you can see in the statistics columns, there are several things you can earn points for. A few examples include:
- TasteSpots: Save and sign up for updates on your favorite venues listed on TasteSpace
- Contributions: Write user reviews and venue descriptions/highlights, upload photos, suggest ambiances/features and more!
- Submissions and Bookmarks: Download our toolbar or log in to your MyTasteBuds account to submit articles and content about food and drink across the Internet.
- Tastys and Tags: Vote and comment on articles and content submitted by other users for storage in your own bookmarks and featured placement in TasteBuzz. Tag articles/content you find across the net to specific venues for featured placement on their TasteSpace profiles.
Tired of doing stuff for your friends? Have them earn points for you! Anytime a friend whom you've referred earns any points, you will automatically earn 10% of those points! Refer your friends to MyTasteBuds by using the link in your Profile page, or sign in the box in the top-right corner and use the link there!
